Digital Volt-Ammeter 220V AC 60-500V 0-100A – Connection Instructions and Specifications
The digital volt-ammeter is ideal for monitoring the voltage and current consumed by electrical equipment in alternating current (AC) networks.
Simple and Safe Connection:
The volt-ammeter has two main terminals:
- Terminal L (Live): connect to the live wire of the electrical network.
- Terminal N (Neutral): connect to the neutral wire of the electrical network.
In this way, the voltmeter measures the supply voltage between live and neutral.
Current Measurement (Ammeter):
The live wire of the load must pass through the ammeter coil of the device, which functions as a magnetic ring.
For higher accuracy, it is recommended that the live wire pass multiple times (usually 3–5 turns) through the ammeter coil. This significantly increases the sensitivity and precision of the current measurement.
Connection Diagram:
- Network live (L) → Volt-ammeter terminal L → Ammeter coil (through which the live wire of the load passes) → Load live (L)
- Network neutral (N) → Volt-ammeter terminal N → Load neutral (N)
