24V DC Cyclic Timer Relay — Precise timing that remembers your settings after power cuts
Is your pump starting too early? Is your fan running non-stop? Does your irrigation system go haywire after a power outage? If you are dealing with these issues, a 24V DC cyclic timer with non-volatile memory is the definitive solution—no need to reset your parameters from scratch every time the power flickers.
Note: This module operates exclusively on 24V DC. To use the external trigger port (XH-2.45-2P), you will need to solder a connector or wires onto the dedicated pads.
Why choose this model? (Key Advantages):
- Power-loss memory — P0–P5 parameters and ON/OFF times are saved; the cycle resumes automatically upon reconnection without manual intervention.
- 0–999 timing range in seconds, minutes, or hours — units are set independently for ON and OFF phases, allowing you to combine, for example, 10 seconds ON with 2 hours OFF in the same cycle.
- 10A NO contact relay output — directly control pumps, fans, or LED strips without needing an additional power module.
- Cyclic operation (1–999 cycles or infinite loop) — automatic shutdown after a set number of iterations, perfect for dispensers or fixed-schedule irrigation systems.
- Dual triggering: automatic or manual — start immediately upon power-up (P4=ON) or via an external trigger using a button/sensor connected to the XH-2.45-2P port.
- Keypad lock (P5) — once configured, the keypad can be locked to prevent accidental changes in industrial or agricultural installations.
Performance and Specifications
This module operates at 24V DC and switches loads of up to 10A via the normally open (NO) contact — sufficient for most small-to-medium pumps or ventilation systems. The ON and OFF phases are independently configurable by time unit, allowing for asymmetric scenarios: a few seconds of operation followed by minutes or hours of pause, all from a compact 79.5 × 42.1 × 27.8 mm device. The OUT LED indicator provides visual confirmation of the relay status at all times.

Programming and Usage Instructions
- Press and hold the S button for 6 seconds to enter the programming menu.
- Press S briefly to navigate between codes P0–P5: P0 = ON time unit, P1 = OFF time unit, P2 = cycle priority, P3 = number of cycles, P4 = trigger mode, P5 = keypad lock.
- Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to adjust the value of each parameter.
- Double-click S to set the ON time and OFF time sequentially.
- If no button is pressed for 6 seconds, the settings are automatically saved to memory.
- In automatic mode (P4=ON), the cycle starts immediately after power-up.
- In manual mode (P4=OFF), press the R button or activate the external port to initiate the cycle.
- Repetitive cycle example: ON=10s, OFF=5s, P3=OFF → continuous operation with uninterrupted alternation.
- Delay start example: ON=0, OFF=10s → activation 10 seconds after power-up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I power this relay with 12V or 230V?
No. The module is designed strictly for 24V DC. Any other voltage may cause irreversible damage to the circuit.
What is the maximum load I can connect to the relay output?
Up to 10A on the NO contact. For larger loads, we recommend using an external contactor controlled by this relay.
Are settings lost during a power cut?
No. The non-volatile memory retains all parameters (P0–P5, ON/OFF times) and the cycle resumes automatically when power is restored.
How do I trigger the cycle from an external sensor or button?
Set P4=OFF and connect the button or sensor to the XH-2.45-2P port on the board. Please note: the port requires soldering a connector or wires directly to the pads.
Can I limit the number of start/stop cycles?
Yes. The P3 parameter allows you to choose between an infinite loop or a fixed number of cycles between 1 and 999, after which the relay stops automatically.
