Functions and Step-by-Step Usage

  1. Switching display parameters: In normal mode, press the SW button to toggle the display between voltage (V), current (A), power (W), capacity (Ah), and time (h). Long press of the SW button switches the display between input voltage (IN) and output voltage (OUT).
  2. Setting the output voltage: Press the U/I button to enter the constant voltage setting menu. The digit that can be modified will blink. Rotate the encoder left or right to adjust the major and minor value. Press the encoder briefly to switch the selected digit. To exit, press the U/I button twice or wait 10 seconds.
  3. Setting maximum constant current: From normal mode, press U/I to enter the maximum allowed constant current setting. Adjust the value with the rotary encoder similar to the voltage setting.
  4. Configuring default ON/OFF state: Long press the U/I button to choose whether the module output will be ON (OPEN ON) or OFF (OPEN OFF) by default when powering up.
  5. Setting protections and thresholds: Long press U/I to enter the protection parameters menu. Use SW to select the desired protection: LUP (undervoltage), OUP (overvoltage), OCP (overcurrent), OPP ( overpower), OAP (excessive capacity), OHP (time delay expiration), OTP (overtemperature). Adjust thresholds and enable/disable protections as preferred.
  6. Calibrating voltage and current: Press U/I to access the calibration interface (CAL). Here you can calibrate input voltage, output voltage, and current precisely for optimal results and accuracy.

Important Safety Warnings

For optimal and safe operation, ensure that the input voltage is above 8V to achieve maximum load. At 5V input, the maximum power is around 15W. If using currents above 3A or power over 35W, it is recommended to use a fan for additional cooling to prevent overheating.

The module has automatic undervoltage protection with a default threshold of 4.8V; the output disconnects automatically if the voltage drops below this level. Pay attention to the input wire voltage, especially at high currents, to avoid the risk of electric shock.
