pH Value Interpretation

If you are unsure how to interpret the reading, use this simple guide:

  • 0 – 6.5: acidic environment
  • 6.5 – 8.5: optimal drinking water
  • 8.5 – 14: alkaline environment

Water pH varies depending on geographic location. In granite areas, it is usually acidic; in limestone areas, it is alkaline.
