ZX-5DK Digital Pulse Counter with Magnetic Sensor for Industrial and Commercial Applications
The ZX-5DK digital pulse counter is a versatile device widely used in various industries for precise monitoring of cycles, rotations, and event counting. It is ideal for applications in the food industry, metal processing (CNC machine monitoring), beverage industry, access control, and various industrial processes such as winding and baling.
This counter can be configured to monitor the number of people entering and exiting commercial or industrial spaces. For example, when installed near a store entrance, it provides useful data on foot traffic, helping optimize resources and security.
In addition to the included magnetic sensor, the device can record pulses by connecting to a relay or switch-limit contact. Pulses are recorded on the negative edge of the signal, and the device has good resistance to interference and electronic noise.
The counter operates on a standard AA battery, without requiring an external power source. It features a reset contact and can handle up to 30 pulses per second. The front panel includes a POWER button (press and hold to turn on/off) and a RESET button.
Battery replacement is simple, by removing the back cover. The counter only records increments and cannot be set for decrement counting. The set includes the counter, magnetic sensor with two nuts, mounting metal plate, and a disc-type magnet for sensor actuation.
For counting pulses from the AC mains (220-240V AC), the contact of an intermediate relay powered by 220V AC is used.
