The metal probe is inserted directly into the soil to measure electrical conductivity—as the soil dries, resistance increases, and the module registers the change. The digital display provides real-time moisture percentage readings without the need for an app or smartphone. When the moisture level drops below your set threshold, the NO/NC relay engages to start irrigation. Once the soil reaches the desired moisture level, the system shuts off automatically.

Programming and Setup Instructions
- Connect the module to a 12V DC power source and your load (pump or solenoid valve) following the wiring diagram in the photo gallery.
- Insert the metal probe into the soil at your desired depth—the display will immediately show the current moisture percentage.
- Press SET once for parameter F0—set the value at which the relay disconnects (irrigation stops).
- Press SET again for parameter F1—set the value at which the relay connects (irrigation starts).
- Parameter F2 is for advanced calibration—under normal conditions, this does not need to be adjusted.
- Verify the logic: moisture drops below F1 → pump starts; moisture reaches F0 → pump stops automatically.
