Multifunctional Digital TDS Meter – Instantly check how clean your home water is
Do you know how efficiently your RO filter is working? Or whether your tap water is genuinely safe to drink? Just dip the sensor, wait 2 seconds, and read the result. This digital TDS meter simultaneously measures TDS in ppm, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature — three essential parameters packed into a single pocket-sized device.
Note: The device measures the electrical conductivity of water and converts it into a TDS (ppm) value. It does not identify specific types of contaminants, but rather measures the overall level of dissolved solids.
Why choose this model? (Key Benefits):
- 0–9990 ppm & 0–9990 µS/cm range — covers everything from distilled water to high-mineral sources without needing a new device
- 4 display modes via the SHIFT button — quickly switch between TDS+°C, EC+°C, TDS+°F, and EC+°F without navigating complicated menus
- HOLD function — freezes the reading on the screen at the push of a button, letting you remove the sensor from the water without losing your measurement
- Auto-off after 5 minutes — batteries last for months under normal use, even if you accidentally leave the device switched on
- Backlight feature — read measurements clearly in low-light conditions, whether in the cellar, under the sink, or at night
- 55g pen-style design — easily slips into your shirt pocket so you can take it to the well, the local spring, or your aquarium with zero hassle
- ±2% accuracy — reliable enough for monitoring RO filters, drinking water, and fish tanks
Details and Performance
Water conducts electrical current depending on how many ions, salts, minerals, and metals are dissolved within it. The TDS meter measures this electrical conductivity and automatically translates it into a figure in ppm (parts per million) — the lower the number, the purer the water. Temperature is measured simultaneously and shown on the same screen, as TDS values vary depending on the liquid’s temperature. The 0.1–80°C temperature range also makes it handy for warm-water purification systems.

Instructions for Use
- Remove the protective electrode cap.
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch the device on.
- Submerge the electrode into the liquid to be tested (at least 5 cm deep).
- Wait for the reading to stabilise (approx. 10–30 seconds).
- Press the HOLD button to lock the measurement, then remove the meter from the liquid.
- Read the value shown on the display.
- Press ON/OFF to turn the device off, wipe the electrode clean with a soft cloth, and replace the protective cap.
- Recalibration is required if: the device has been left unused for a long time or if you have replaced the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions
What TDS level should good drinking water have?
Under 150 ppm — excellent water for drinking. Between 150–250 ppm — potable, within normal limits. Over 500 ppm — high mineral content, potentially metallic or salty taste; supplementary filtration is recommended. WHO guidelines suggest under 300 ppm for daily consumption.
Can I use this device to check if my RO filter is still working?
Yes, that is precisely one of its main uses. Measure the TDS before the filter and after. If the rejection rate is low (under 90%), the RO membrane needs replacing.
Does it work for aquarium or swimming pool water too?
Yes. It measures TDS and EC in any type of water — fresh, salt, pool, or aquarium water. Particularly useful for marine aquariums where salinity needs to be controlled precisely.
